Depending on the size of Catamaran that you are searching for, and style, what you are going to use it for, how you are going to use it, who are you taking out, and the numerous other decisions that you will need to make, sometimes you are left shaking your head about which Catamaran is for you?
Here is a basic thought process for you and your decision making:
Start off looking without any thought of price. Don't even let it come into your initial thought process because you want to "Know" what exactly you want "Before" you find the best one to suit your budget. What if you find a great boat in your price range and purchase it, but then "Remember" that you wanted this other feature not offered with the one you purchased, but it is on another Catamaran of equal price? Bummer situation.
Make a list as your looking of all the features you would like to have. Then put the features in order of importance to you. It will make your final decision much easier.
Space, Power, and How does the Catamaran handle are going to be big decisions. Get comfortable when looking at the craft, is there enough storage, passenger, and gear space for diving or snorkeling.
Where are you going to take the craft? On the bay? To the Caribbean? :)
Take your time above all, do your research. I have many Catamaran sites listed here on my blog to get your feet wet so to speak. Then venture out and really look at the Cats out there, get up close and personal. Enjoy!

Gulf Coast Boating Diving Floridas Coast

Lets take a dive and check out the awesome Brain Coral! This is a fine specimen and a great dive to see it!
Brain Coral Under The Sea Diving Floridas east is a site to behold. Even in the semi limited vis in this phot, it is a wonder of the undersea adventures.
Being a collection of coral with characteristics of spherical corals, these brain coral are found in warmer waters and are a type of stony coral, called that mainly because these animals build a hard skeleton out of calcium carbonate. They use the minerals they get from the ocean water. Individual coral animals are called polyps. There may be one or twoo hundred polyps living on the surface of this pictured coral above.
These corals get their name from the grooves and canals from their surfaces that look like the ripples of the human brain. There's more than one kind of brain coral.Several species from two different families of corals share the name but all help build coral reefs.

Gulf Coast Boating Manta 44 Powercat!

The Manta 44 powercat is an outstanding creation of a cruiser boat.
Great Live-a-board and ocean cruising attributes. Brilliant interiors, reliable, low maintainance, and self sufficiency.
With a 21' beam and 32' draft, fuel capacity of 500 gallons, bridgedeck clearance of 30", and designer Cortland Stech NA...it is a traveller to be viewed, and cruised...:)
Interior finish has wood veneers, Swanstone composite countertops, wood mouldings, and louvered wood doors.
Because of the shallow draft the Manta can be berthed in slips for meant for power boats. Awesome design..check these out at:
