My current choice for a sailing cat...
For those who are interested, this is my first choice for a extended voyage ocean going sailing catamaran... http://www.royalcapecatamarans.com/ Found them at the Miami Boat Show last year, and fell in love with it! Couldn't believe how spacious and roomy the 53 footer was, and how much closet space available! Incredible boat, made in South Africa... Can easily manage 200 nm a day, so it has plenty of speed to get out of trouble if needed.

Still my choice for long range power cats...
There are lots of great brands of power cats out there, but I haven't seen anything better than http://www.pacificexpedition.com yet... Having the long range capabilities of this adventure power cat, and the expansive home-like interior, is unbeatable! I'm looking seriously at the 55 footer, even though I'm torn between power and sail... That's still to be determined! :)
